Produced by Mario Gaoa for South Pacific Pictures and Heavy Weight Media. The series looks at drugs and alcohol abuse through a Maori Pasifika lens. The show is presented by David Letele and is slated for aire in Q4 of this year.

It opened the Sydney Film festival and was received at many prestigious festival galas picking up a host of awards including Best Film at Imaginative in Toronto.

Inspired by The Black Panthers; this drama series, based on true events, looks at a group of young radicals from New Zealand who form their own political party called The Polynesian Panthers.
Directing the first two episodes, Miki, joined creators Halaifonua Finau and Tom Hern in realising this exciting evocative television series. The Panthers is the first ever New Zealand television series invited to TIFF. Produced by Tavake in association with Four Knights Film.
